Your dresses are fab.You should enter the sewing bee.
O thank you so much! I don't think I could cope under the pressure though!
Your work is beautiful! You are more talented with the few fingers that you do have than I am with all of mine!! High five to you girlie!! I truly enjoy your blog! I never even noticed your fingers when looking at the pics. until someone commented on it. It's true that all most people see is your beautiful smile, and your wonderful finished garments! christy@ seamsewcountry.blogspot.com
O thank you so much Christy, that's such a lovely comment to receive. So glad to hear you enjoy my blog and reading about my sewing adventures!
Even the atlantic ocean can't keep your talent away from me :) (I live in the US)Keep it up!I adore everything you make! I hope to one day master more sewing skills like you!
Ah thanks so much! You absolutely can, just keep trying new things!
Hi big cousin
Hi Aimee! Lovely to see you here!
I just found your blog ( as I was admiring your Joan dress on google and then pinterest) You have some amazingly lovely projects, many of which are on my things to do list, and I intend on being a regular visitor.
Hi! Thanks so much for the lovely comment! Hopefully you'll like what I'm sewing at the moment and have ready to blog!
You've built yourself such an amazing wardrobe. You have a great sense of style. Great work!
What a lovely comment thank you! I really feel like in the last year I've identified what I really love to wear and been able to feed that into my pattern and fabric choices. I wear handmade so often now and its a great feeling
I bought myself a sewing machine on a whim in December (call it a birthday present from myself to myself, if you will) as I thought sewing would be a cool hobby to pick up. Hobby-shmobby....its become more of an obsession now and it's only been a month since I started sewing!I've stumbled across your blog and boy am I glad I did. You have totally inspired me. I love your style and your "Technique Checklist" - from which I have adapted my own checklist.I've instantly become a huge fan of yours!
O how exciting! I can totally relate to how quickly it becomes an obsession! Thank you so much for that lovely comment, hearing things like that keeps me motivated to sew and try new things! The Technique checklist is an idea I picked up from Sonja at Ginger Makes and it is such a great way of pushing yourself little by little with you sewing.Have fun getting to grips with your machine!
I love hearing from readers of my blog so please feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you thought about this post/make! Any hints or tips to improve my sewing are always much appreciated too!
