Would you like to work with Diary of a Chainstitcher? If you feel you offer a relevant product or service that my readers would be interested in and would like exposure to thousands of sewing and craft enthusiasts worldwide I now offer various sponsorship options at affordable rates.

About:

I have been writing Diary of a Chain Stitcher about my journey learning to sew for over five years now and the blog has developed a loyal and rapidly increasing following. I was the first UK blogger to join the Mood Sewing Network in February 2014 and over the last few years have enjoyed writing for and being featured in a variety of sewing related publications. The focus of my blog is women's dressmaking although I do the odd menswear or craft project too and sometimes write about my work in theatre as a costume supervisor. My readers and I love trying and learning about new fabrics, patterns and sewing techniques. The desire to learn and improve is a big motivator in my sewing and I sew mainly for the enjoyment of the process rather then necessarily to make something I can get a lot of wear out of (hence the wardrobe full of beautiful yet impractical dresses!). I write monthly updates on new releases and news from independent sewing pattern designers which are free to be included in. I am passionate about supporting creativity, small businesses and other people who are passionate about making things.
